The Allman Brothers' guest laden summer tour continued to push through the northeast this weekend with friends joining the band onstage each step on the way. Both Friday and Saturday the Allman Brothers Band expanded its lineup to include a well-known horn section for portions of its set including frequent guest Ron Holloway. At Atlantic City's Borgata Friday Holloway, who helped fill in for an absent Warren Haynes last week, played saxophone on "Desdemona " before yielding to the Asbury Jukes horn section for "Into The Mystic," "The Same Thing" and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down." The Asbury Jukes, who opened this leg of the Allman Brothers' run, returned a night later at Syracuse, NY's New York State Fair for reprises of "Into The Mystic" and "The Same Thing," as well as a show closing version of "Southboun d."
